As the name suggests, this style was inspired by the traditional Peshawari Sandals that originated in Pakistan and have remained a classic for generations. They have been reinvented while paying homage to their rich history and generations of artisans behind them. They pair well with all your classic tops and bottoms.

All of Criss Cross Embroidered Mules are
 handcrafted. Upper, sole and accessories are all made only from the finest quality manmade materials , Cotton yarn, Faux leather insole and a slip resistant rubber sole making them vegan and cruelty free.

Sole Stories is the brainchild of mother-daughter duo Farida & Afshan Virani. While Afshan takes pleasure in the design process of the label, Farida looks after the business aspect. Afshan’s journey as a shoe designer began way before the label was founded in 2018, as she believed that she needed to follow her true calling which happened to be designing shoes for a living.

It represents conscious and thoughtfully designed accessory pieces that are ethically made using sustainable vegan alternatives like pineapple leaf fibres and upcycled rubber tyres amongst others.
