HOW TO ELIMINATE INNER PAIN

Life situations and circumstances at times can indeed cause pain and perhaps you have experienced disappointment from people very close to you or your family members, you need to know how to handle the pain and how to eliminate it.

Some have committed suicide just because they are unable to eliminate their pain while some are faced with this same thought. Well, pain is part of life and that is why it is necessary to know how to relieve it.

Here are some proven steps for eliminating your inner pain:

TAKE IT EASY

The first step in eliminating inner pain is just to take it easy, or better put, calm down. This step is to help you not to aggravate the pain. 

For any pain to subside, it needs not to be compounded and that is why you must ensure you don't add to the pain in an attempt to let it out.

STAY AWAY FROM THE CAUSE OF THE PAIN

You have to try as much as possible to stay away from the cause of the pain be it a human being or an event. There is something about sight that connects one to certain memories be it good or bad, that is why out of sight is out of mind.

For your inner pains to be healed, either the one caused by people or an event, you have to do away with anything that brings back the memory and once that is maintained, time will heal your pain.

FIND SOMEONE TO TALK TO

Don't cover up your inner pain. Find someone to talk to. Opening up to your confidant or someone you consider dear to you will ease the pain

It is a common saying that a problem shared is a problem solved, in the same vein, a pain shared is a pain healed. Holding your pains to yourself is dangerous because it can affect your outward dispositions and that is why you need to air it to someone, probably your pastor, mentor, close friends, and so on.

HANG AROUND WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY

Just the same way we don't throw our dishes away because they are dirty but we expose them to another event of washing with soap and water so also, you have the responsibility of exposing yourself to other events around that will make you happy. 

Perhaps you don't have people around you to hang around, you can go online and see funny skits and videos that will make you laugh. You just need to laugh, laugh, and laugh to ease yourself of the pain.

This process has to be done repeatedly till the pain is eliminated.

REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE JUST ONE LIFE TO LIVE

Above all, remember that nothing is what dying for. Life is not meant to be lived in pain, so, you need to encourage yourself to get rid of your inner pain because you have one life to live.

Sometimes, people won't be there to encourage you but you have to be your encouragement. Tell yourself the truth of life and brace yourself up. No one will live your life for you so, live your life without retaining any pain. Make up your mind. Be deliberate.

Lastly, ensure you don't vent anger and annoyance on people because you going through some inner pains. If you do, you can cause yourself more pain than you can ever imagine. 

When you are in pain, watch your words and consider your actions as these may aggravate inner pain later on.
