Established in 2020 in the vallys of Asam, Revika melded her experience in fashion with her entrepreneurial bent of mind to create Ahimsa. There has been no looking back since. For not only is each piece an investment; but such is the natural quality of the silk, that it can be passed on as heirloom and yet live up to its sheen.

Every process that gives shape and form to the clothes, accessories, and collectibles, is for and from the earth. That which is leftover, is treated with due respect, as something that must be returned to its source after it has served its purpose. Some of it is indeed repurposed, so its versatility can be loved and cherished again. Female artisans of the North East earn their livelihood with Ahimsa, but they do so as protectors of the Earth’s treasures.
